Composites TWG

The Composites Thematic Working Group (TWG) is an active group of NNFCC members, which exists to facilitate the development of the composites supply chain in the UK.

The group meets to discuss recent developments and strategies for progress.

Meeting

The following meeting of the Composites TWG has taken place to date:

1. Inaugural meeting, 31 March 2010, Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, London.
   This meeting attracted over 80 delegates representing a wide range of end use markets. Attendees explored issues surrounding the development of a composites industry within the UK, specifically in feedstock production, processing and end use. They suggested ways in which the UK could leverage its expertise to progress the development of bio-composite materials in industry. Held in collaboration with ADAS, Net Composites and the Materials KTN.
