Information we collect from you and how we use it

We do not automatically collect personal information from you unless it is freely provided. However some non-personal information is collected by our web server in order to continually improve this Website and tailor it to the needs of visitors. This information includes the type of browser being used by you, the type of operating system in use by you and the domain name of your internet service provider or your corporate domain. By collecting this information we are able to review the number of visitors to this Website but only in an aggregate form which does not enable individual visitors to be identified.

We will only collect personal information about you if you choose to provide this to us by filling in forms on our Website. This information may be collected in the following instances and used for the following purposes:
1. When you complete our "Join Our Mailing List" form to receive information about the bioeconomy and related issues.
If you complete our "Join Our Mailing List" form you will be asked for certain personal information including your name, contact details and details of your main business area of interest. 
We will use your personal contact details to provide you with the information you have requested or which we believe may be of interest to you and we may contact you by post, electronic mail (email), or telephone.  In particular, we may provide you with e-bulletins (email bulletins relating to news and events of interest), NNFCC Newsletters and publications. You will also be given the opportunity to unsubscribed at any point by clicking unsubscribe on the footer of any e-mail you receive from us.
2. When you complete our "Become a NNFCC subscriber" form in order to join our subscription service in return for a fee.
If you complete our "Become a NNFCC subscriber" form you will be asked for your name, job title, employer and contact details and these details will be used to provide you with the services you subscribe to. 
Our subscription services are set out in detail on our website but please note in particular that we may contact you by post, electronic mail (email) or telephone to provide you with our membership services and information which we believe may be of interest to you.  For example, we may send you newsletters, information about events, attendance fee discounts, e-bulletins (email bulletins relating to news and events of interest), NNFCC newsletters and other publications or information which we believe may be of interest to you.
3. When you complete an online registration form in order to attend at one of our events.
If you complete an online registration form in order to attend at one of our events you will be asked for your name, job title, employer and contact details.  We will use this information to confirm your booking and provide you with further details of the event.
You will also be asked whether you are happy for us to provide other delegates with your details and if you expressly agree to this, your name and affiliation (i.e. company or organisation name) will be included in our printed "Attendee List" which we provide to all delegates attending the event you have registered for as part of our delegate pack.  Your contact details will not be included in this Attendee List.

We will also use your details to provide you with details of future events and other information which we believe may be of interest to you and we may contact you by post, electronic mail (email), or telephone to provide you with this information.   
Please note that if you fill in any of the forms on our Website we will use your personal details to notify you about changes or developments to our services, and to provide you with information, products or services that you request from us or that we feel may interest you. 
If you change your mind about being contacted for any of these purposes at any time, please let us know using the contact details set out at the end of this Policy.

Disclosure of your Information
