General Terms of Reference

Standard, Business and Executive Membership all begin on 01 April each year and are active until 31 March in the following year.

The full Membership fee will be payable up until 31 March of each year. If the Membership fee is not paid within 30 days from invoicing the Membership will be cancelled.

Overall administration of the Membership programme is conducted by NNFCC.

Standard Membership

Access to online resource of reports and tools

Standard Membership provides the Member access to reports and tools on the NNFCC website that are listed as available to Standard Members on the 1st day of membership.

Standard Membership entitles the member to a single online login, which can be shared to colleagues within the same organisation. Any further sharing of reports and tools is strictly prohibited and will result in the termination of your membership.

NNFCC weekly Market Reviews

During the term of their Membership, Standard Members will receive four Market Reviews each month. The areas covered in the four Market Reviews will be:

  • Feedstocks
  • Bioenergy
  • Biofuels
  • Bio-based Products

A summary and link to each Market Review will be sent to the e-mail address you registered to become a Member of NNFCC. This e-mail address can be changed at any time during the term of your Membership, upon request, simply e-mail: enquiries@nnfcc.co.uk.

Discounts on selected NNFCC and third party events

NNFCC negotiate discounts on behalf of our Members directly with event organisers. These discounts will be published on the NNFCC website and where appropriate in our quarterly newsletter and monthly events e-bulletin.

Business Membership

A member of NNFCC staff will be assigned to manage each Business Members account.

Business Members are entitled to up to eight hours of complimentary consultancy from an NNFCC consultant. The eight hours of consultancy may be taken ad-hoc, in a single consultation or as part of a longer consultancy project. Time spent over the eight hours of complimentary consultancy will be charged at our standard consultancy rates.

Dedicated e-mail to NNFCC contacts

Business Members are entitled to one dedicated e-mail to the NNFCC contacts list (3800 contacts as of 30th January 2013). The text and images for the e-mail are to be provided by the Member. NNFCC will attempt to send the e-mail at the time and date requested by the Member, unless this conflicts with existing NNFCC scheduling. NNFCC reserves the right to refuse or amend (with agreement of the member) submitted Member news items where these conflict with the core mission and values of NNFCC.

Your press releases hosted on NNFCC website

Business Members can publicise their press releases on the NNFCC website. These will be hosted for a period of no less than the term of the members Membership term. Press Releases will be posted at the discretion of NNFCC. Business Members should add enquiries@nnfcc.co.uk to their Press Release distribution list or e-mail Press Releases to enquiries@nnfcc.co.uk directly.

Listing in NNFCC online Business Directory

Business Members are entitled to one entry in NNFCC’s online Business Directory, free of charge. To be included send one logo (jpeg), a description of the company or product and your company’s contact details to enquiries@nnfcc.co.uk.

Executive Membership

A member of NNFCC staff will be assigned to manage each Executive Members account.

Executive Membership provides the Member access to all reports and tools on the NNFCC website.

Executive Membership entitles the Member to up to ten unique online logins for colleagues within the same organisation as the Member. Any further sharing of reports and tools is strictly prohibited and will result in the termination of your membership.

Two one-day Roundtable meetings with NNFCC Chief Executive, including Market Briefings presented by senior NNFCC staff

Executive Membership includes two one-day Roundtable meetings, held in York, UK, and chaired by NNFCC’s Chief Executive. The date of the Roundtable meeting will agreed by Members of the Executive Membership Group.

The Roundtable meetings will also include Market Briefings from senior NNFCC consultants, and will be open to up to three staff from Member organisations; attendees must be agreed with NNFCC prior to the meeting for security purposes.

One-day Q&A session with senior NNFCC staff member at any UK location

Executive Members are entitled to a one-to-one Question & Answer Session, with a senior NNFCC consultant. This can be held at a time and location (within the United Kingdom) at the request of the Member. Meetings outside of the UK are at the discretion of NNFCC.
