Foreword
We begin on the other side
of the Irish Sea: The Republic of Ireland was the last remaining European
country that did not have some kind of incentive scheme for renewable heat
generation, but the Irish government has now announced a Renewable Energy
Support Scheme (RESS). The scheme is still in its final
consultation phase, which does not end until the 3rd of
November, but afterwards we can expect legislation, although we cannot yet know
what form it will take........
