Foreword 

The aviation industry is estimated to produce 2% of the worlds human-induced carbon emissions. The use of biofuels can help to reduce the environmental impact of the aviation industry, although it is a tricky industry to decarbonise.
Neste's sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) for example helps customers to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80% compared to fossil fuels on a life cycle basis. Neste’s MY Renewable Jet Fuel can be used as a drop-in fuel with existing aircraft engines and airport infrastructure. It is sourced from 100% renewable waste and residues.
