It’s all eyes on bioethanol this month as a number of developments in the sector have taken place over the past 4 weeks. These include the announcement from Ineos Bio that they are to sell their ethanol business, citing changes in the US ethanol market no longer matching the company’s strategic objectives as the key reason for the sale. While Ineos are set to sell up, Norwegian company Borregaard are looking to further develop with a multi-million Krone upgrade to their Sarpsborg plant in the pipeline...
