Foreword 

Sweden has some ambitious targets with regards to climate change and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. By 2040, Sweden plans to be fossil-free which will go a long way towards reducing emissions. Progress has been made this month towards reducing emissions, as the Swedish government has announced a greenhouse gas reduction mandate for aviation fuel. It will see a gradual increase in % reduction level, reaching a 27% emission reduction level by 2030. Norway too announced earlier in the year a 0.5% biofuel blending mandate which should see a 30% share of biofuels in the aviation sector by 2030.
Most of this progress in reducing emissions from the aviation sector is expected to come from the use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), and producers of SAF......
