Foreword
The approaching holidays and the nearing end of
the past year always bring a sense of hope for the future. We reflect on what
was done and wish for better outcomes, luckier endeavors and brighter days to
come. 2020 is definitely one of those years we all be pleased to see the end
of, in the hope we can all meet again in an improved 2021. It does seem that
the UK government has been taking steps to make some of those hopes a reality,
thanks to an increasing and continuous effort to decarbonise our industry,
economy and society by 2050.
