Foreword
In
June 2020, the World Bank released its Global Economic Prospects report
highlighting the deep effect that the pandemic has been having on markets all
over the world. It describes the biggest economic recession in decades and
warns of long-term socio-economic effects which are likely to complicate the
recovery.
Despite
this, the renewable energy industry has not suffered such setbacks, and on the
contrary, has continued to expand around the world throughout 2020. The latest
International Energy Agency (IEA) report predicts that this growth will not
only continue, but also pick up pace...
